Adult Ballet is a class taught at a beginner/intermediate level intended for adults who have little to some dance experience. This class focuses on stretching, flexibility, and core strengthening through barre and traditional ballet movement while learning the fundamentals of ballet. The development of the body is promoted through stretching and strengthening and focusing on technique and correct body placement.

Proper dance attire:

Spandex top(preferably leotard), loose or fitting bottom

Hair pulled back out of face

Split sole ballet slipper (leather or canvas)

Thursdays 6-7 pm at River City Dance Studio

Adult Lyrical is a fun introductory class taught at a beginner level intended for adults who have at least some dance experience. This class focuses on lyrical and some contemporary movement and choreography. 

Proper dance attire:

Something comfortable to move around in

Hair pulled back out of face

Thursdays 1-2 pm at River City Dance Studio

This Adult Ballet is an introductory recreational class taught at a beginner level intended for mature adults who have no or very little dance experience. This class focuses on stretching, core strengthening through barre and traditional ballet. The development of the body is promoted through stretching and strengthening and focusing on correct body placement.

Proper dance attire:

Spandex top(preferably leotard), loose or fitting bottom

Hair pulled back out of face

Split sole ballet slipper (leather or canvas)
