Pre-ballet is a fun introduction to ballet intended for younger students. Students learn creative movement and basic dance developmental skills through creative play, music and dance. Students participate in a variety of free movement exercises that motivate coordination, attention and listening skills. Social skills are also learned at this level as each student builds self-confidence and expresses their creativity.
Proper dance attire:
Leotard/tights/ballet shoes (any color)
Skirt or tutu optional (glitter free)
Hair pulled back(preferably into a bun) out of face
Beginner Ballet is an introduction to ballet intended for dancers aged 6-7 or with two years pre-ballet instruction. Skills are introduced at a slightly advanced skill level. Skills and techniques become more complex relative to the age range. Skills taught through the movement of creative games are applied to a higher level. Focus is more specifically on ballet positions, proper vocabulary and movement. Barre may be introduced at this level.

Hair pulled back(preferably into a bun) out of face
Ballet I is intended for dancers who are new to dance or have studied the basics and are ready to focus on development of body, technique, skills, vocabulary, along with proper ballet class etiquette in a more structured environment. The development of the body is promoted through stretching and strengthening and focusing on correct body placement. Barre is introduced at this level.

Black leotard/ pink tights
Split sole ballet shoe (any color)
Hair pulled back(preferably into a bun) out of face
